Re:WRC Annual Meeting: May 6, 1:00–4:30 p.m. ET

On behalf of all of us at the Worker Rights Consortium, we hope that you and your families are faring well during this unprecedented crisis.

We are writing to share updated information regarding the Annual Meeting of the WRC University Caucus, which will be held as an online program this year.

We will be holding the virtual meeting on the originally planned date, Wednesday, May 6, with a modified schedule. From 1:00 p.m. ET to 4:00 p.m. ET, we will present a shortened program, which will dedicate significant time to the sweeping impact of Covid-19 on the apparel industry, including the university supply chain, and on the WRC’s efforts to advance solutions that can protect the well-being of workers and help the industry through the crisis. We will also discuss other key topics, including forced labor in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China and key developments during 2019–2020. Following the program, we will also be holding an open forum from 4:00 p.m. through 4:30 p.m. ET, for those who are able to stay with us. During the open forum, the WRC staff and University Caucus Board members can respond to and discuss any questions or concerns from universities not covered during the program.

Please RSVP here for the WRC University Caucus Annual Meeting.
