Save the Date: WRC University Caucus Meeting will be May 1, 2012

Dear Colleagues,

I wanted to send a brief note to let you know that the WRC University Caucus Annual Meeting has now been scheduled. It will take place Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. This is a one day meeting that will run from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

A meeting invitation with detailed information on the agenda and logistics will be sent soon, but we wanted to make people aware of the date right away. Topics of discussion will include, among others, the PT Kizone case and other current WRC factory cases, a status report on Alta Gracia Apparel, the favorable Department of Justice decision concerning the Designated Suppliers Program and its implications, and developments on the crucial issue of living wage. As always, there will be ample time for questions and open discussion.
