We hope that you can join the Worker Rights Consortium at the Annual Meeting of our University Caucus.

2021 Annual Meeting of the University Caucus of the Worker Rights Consortium

Friday, April 23, 2021
12:30 pm ET – 4:00 pm ET
This meeting will be held remotely via Zoom

WRC staff and invited speakers will share information on topics including:

  • How the WRC is engaging with licensees, leading industry brands, and the US government in our efforts to end forced labor in the Uyghur region of China;
  • New research on the impact of the pandemic on garment workers; and 
  • The WRC’s guidance to and engagement with licensees and other brands regarding workers’ fundamental rights and survival needs during the pandemic. 

We will also provide an overview of organizational developments and our engagement with licensees regarding violations of university codes of conduct, and we will open space for general discussion and for questions to members of the WRC headquarters and field staff. Please feel free to reach out to either of us with specific suggestions or questions regarding the meeting.
